Simplified accounts – Financial Inclusion
A simplified account waived from some fees for Individuals & Microfinance companies.
Financial inclusion accounts can be opened from the nearest branch or during the financial inclusion events & initiatives which have been determined by CBE.

Financial Inclusion account types
A- Individual’s financial inclusion account types
1. Noon account: For women aged 21 and above
2. Zee account: For all youth aged 15 to 21
3. El-Hareef account: For economic activities & freelancers aged 21 and above
4. Ma’ak account: For handicapped aged 15 and above
5. Senior account: For elders aged 60and above
6. Individual accounts: For individuals aged 21 and above
B- Companies’ financial inclusion account type
1. Khatwa account: For micro-finance companies
Accounts features & benefits
1. Waived from account opening fees
2. Waived from admin fees
3. Waived from debit card issuance fees (first time classic card)
4. Waived from minimum balance fees (no minimum balance is required)
5. Debit transactions limits are EGP 90K per day & EGP 300K per month
6. The maximum balance limit for the account is EGP 500K

3. Waived from check book issuance fees (first time only)
4. Waived from minimum balance fees (no minimum balance is required)
5. Debit transactions limits are EGP 120K per day & EGP 600K per Month
6. The maximum balance limit for the account is EGP 800K
Required Documents
A- Individual account:
1. National ID is the only required document to open the account if all the data are valid
2. Medical certificate or integrated service card from the ministry of solidarity are required with the national ID in case of opening Ma’ak account
